The United States' passenger rail system is in dire need of improvement. Wes Edens, founder of Fortress Investment Group and the owner of several professional sports franchises, thinks he's found the cure. Edens spoke with Business Insider about his leadership on Virgin Trains USA, which will eventually connect Miami and Orlando, Florida. There are nearly a dozen other possible locations for private passenger rail in the country, Edens says, and the West Coast is next on his list.
